The Creators

Cara Deptula

One of the visionaries and co-creators of the “Juice Bar” project, Cara is a Creator, Producer, Actress, and Healer.  Cara has always been an advocate for health and wellness, hence "Juice Bar".   She was writing stand up around the health food industry and was drawn to the social crowd in health food stores.  She felt that writing stand-up could get her some notice to work in TV, similar to the likes of Whitney Cummings.

The Juice Bar wheels were churning.....Cara was writing and then she met Obi who owned a nonprofit production company.  She thought "well if I write a show, he can then produce it".  Cara started writing concepts around characters.  Obi and Cara started meeting daily  - Cara sharing her ideas with Obi, that eventually led to Obi putting them into script!   ... Hence the birth of Juice Bar.
